Boys Win Tennis Regional; Girls Runnerup

Congratulations to both the boys and girls tennis teams as they qualified for the state tournament on October 15th.  The boys won the regional championship in an exciting fashion by defeating Palo Verde in the finals 10-9.  The girls lost to Palo Verde in the finals 13-5 but could end up facing them in the state championship with a first round win at state.

Good luck to both teams as they compete for a state championship in the 5A on Oct. 28 and 29 at Bishop Gorman High School.  Both boys and girls teams will face Reno High School in the semi-finals.  Boys will play at 8:00 am and the girls will face off at 12:30 pm.
