  • Is there an age requirement for 6th grade at Faith Lutheran?

    6th grade applicants must be 11 years old by August 1st. Any appeals of this policy must be submitted to the admissions office during the application process.
  • What is the Waiting Pool policy?

  • When does the application process begin?

    Generally, the application process opens in September for the following school year. Please review the Apply Now page for detailed information.
  • Is my $50 application fee refundable?

    The application fee is non-refundable.
     
  • I have previously attended or applied to the school...

    If you have applied to our school in the past, or if your child was a previous student that wishes to return, please contact the admissions office directly at admissions@flhsemail.org or (702) 804-4413, but do not fill out a new inquiry form.
     
  • Can students transfer mid-year?

    Those interested in mid-year transfers should please contact the admissions office at admissions@flhsemail.org or (702) 804-4413. Acceptance at semester is dependent on space availability in the grade desired.  A student could be accepted to the school, but placed in a waiting pool.  Please contact the admissions office for additional details.
  • Does Faith Lutheran accept international students?

    Yes. Students must apply and be accepted.  Upon acceptance Faith Lutheran will issue the I-20 paperwork to the accepted student. Please see the International Student Admissions page.
  • What material does the placement exam cover?

    All incoming students are required to take a Math Placement Exam. Incoming High School students can also take an optional English Challenge.

    These exams are used for class placement purposes only, not for an admissions decision.  The math portion of the test will present problems from multiple grade levels, math principles, and concepts.  It is normal if students cannot complete the entire exam.  
     
  • When does the school day start and end?

    High School begins at 7:45 am and ends at 2:40 p.m.

    Middle School begins at 8:15 a.m. and ends at 3:05 p.m for 6th grade and at 3:15 p.m. for 7th and 8th graders.  

    On Tuesdays, High School begins at 8:40 am and Middle School begins at 9 am.
  • Do you have a bus system?

    Faith Lutheran does not currently offer bus transportation to school.
     
  • What is the enrollment and activity fee and what does it cover?

  • Do you offer financial aid?

  • Can I pay my fees and tuition with cash?


    The enrollment and activity fee must be paid by a credit card or bank account debit. If you would like to make payments to your tuition with cash, please contact our Finance Office at (702) 804-4400 x2124 for more information.
