God encourages cheerful giving so that His work in the world may be done.  Giving is a blessing to the giver because it helps us avoid the love of money and because we take pleasure in making a difference in people's lives.  God then uses this return of the material gifts He gave to us to be a blessing to the receiver.  Make no mistake.  Faith Lutheran Middle School and High School -- both as an institution and as the individuals served here -- has been blessed by you and people like you who are willing to give generously. “Each one must give as he has decided in his heart, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver." 2 Corinthians 9:7
In the Parable of the Talents in Matthew 25, the Master was going on a long trip when he called together his servants and entrusted money to them while he was gone.  He gave five talents to one, two talents to another and one talent to the last one – each according to their God-given abilities.  The first two took what they were given and produced twice as much for the Master.  But the last one took what he was given and buried it, depriving not only the Master but himself of the blessings the first two received.  Of the first two, the Master said “Well done, my good and faithful servant.  You have been faithful in handling this small amount, so now I will give you many more responsibilities.  Let’s celebrate together!”  But of the last one, the Master was furious not so much because the servant wasted his money (Matt. 25:26-27), but because he wasted an opportunity.  He had the opportunity to do more with what he was given.
Our school has been blessed by so many who have given cheerfully from that which God has given them.  Thank you for being generous stewards of all that God has entrusted to you.  Our donors have played and continue to play a large role in the growth and success of our school.  To God be the glory.

Crusade for Excellence Annual Fund

Although tuition dollars cover basic education costs at Faith Lutheran, additional funding is needed to minimize tuition increases and expand Faith’s outstanding learning environment.  Contributions that are not designated for a specific purpose are of primary importance because we are able to channel resources where the needs are greatest. In order to keep tuition increases to a minimum, we appeal to our entire community of parents, grandparents, alumni and friends to support the Crusade for Excellence (CfE) Annual Fund.  Your gift to the CfE will help:
• Develop new academic programs
• Enhance existing educational opportunities
• Provide professional development opportunities for our teachers
• Secure new technology
• And much more!
Your generous donation is an investment in our students and will make a huge difference in their future – both in life and in eternity!

Build Faith COMMITED TO GROWING, TOGETHER! is our capital campaign to realize our vision to grow our present campus to almost 50 acres while serving up to 2,700 middle school and high school students. The first phase built the Crusader Competition Center and a new science classroom and purchased the land immediately south of our campus. Subsequent phases will include new classroom buildings, a new STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math) building, a new middle school, tennis courts, an administration building, aquatics center, additional parking, and new softball field.

This aggressive vision will only happen if Faith Lutheran and the entire Las Vegas community commits to come together to continue to grow what is already the largest non-public school in Nevada, currently serving more than 1700 students. This campaign not only allows us to literally build Faith Lutheran’s campus, but also to build the spiritual faith of everyone in the Faith Family.
Immediate Tuition Assistance Fund Faith Lutheran's need-based Tuition Assistance Program provides families who might not otherwise be able afford the cost of private Christian education with partial tuition funding. The downturn in the economy, along with it's continued turmoil, has created an urgent need for tuition assistance never before realized by the school.  Over $500,000 in tuition assistance was awarded during the past academic year. The need continues.
Your support of the Immediate Tuition Assistance Program will allow any family seeking a faith-based education for their children to have that opportunity at Faith Lutheran Middle School & High School.
Scholarship Endowment Fund Established in 2001, Faith Lutheran's Scholarship Endowment Fund has grown to over $1,800,000 through proceeds from the annual Scholarship Endowment Gala and donations from generous individuals.  The school utilizes earned interest from the endowment fund to supplement the Tuition Assistance Program.    Your donation to the Scholarship Endowment Fund helps to further the fund and provide assurance that any family who desires life-shaping Christian education for their children will have that opportunity at Faith Lutheran Middle School & High School.
Mark 10:14 Program This program provides an inclusive Christian education for students with intellectual disabilities giving them a wealth of opportunities to learn ‘real world’ skills and preparing them to reach their highest potential. Mark 10:14 gives non-disabled students daily opportunities to grow in their understanding of individuals with intellectual disabilities. Successful inclusion requires a high adult to student ratio. Mark 10:14 Program students pay 1.5 times the regular Faith Lutheran tuition and even at that rate, costs of the program are not covered. Your donation is needed to help ensure the continuation of this unique program.
Mark 10:14 Scholarship Fund This new scholarship will provide financial assistance to the families of Mark 10:14 students who struggle with the expense of tuition in addition to the many costs of providing for the needs of a child with intellectual disabilities. The Mark 10:14 Program students pay 1.5 times the regular Faith Lutheran tuition and even at that rate, costs of the program are not covered. Donations are needed to help ensure the continuation of this unique program. The students participating in this program have never before been eligible for any tuition assistance of financial aid. Any and all donations are greatly appreciated.
Athletic Fund Faith Lutheran competes in Division 4A Athletics, the state's highest and best level of competition. Our programs are governed by the Nevada Interscholastic Activities Association (NIAA). Over two-thirds of all Faith Lutheran students in both middle school and high school participate in our athletic programs. Your gift to the Athletic Fund will provide up to date equipment and facilities that will enable student athletes to train and compete at the best level possible.
Fine Arts Fund Faith Lutheran boasts an award-winning Fine Arts Department.  Our Visual Arts programs include photography, ceramics, painting, drawing and much more.  Student artwork is always beautifully displayed throughout our campus for all to enjoy.  Students participating in Musical Arts such as choir, vocal ensemble, and orchestra consistently win highest awards in local and national competitions.  Our Dramatic Arts programs produce plays and musical theatre productions of outstanding quality at both the middle school and high school levels.  The award winning Dance Program offers technique and choreography for the novice all the way to the experienced dancer in classes that include:  Ballet, Tap, Ballroom, Elite, and more.  Your donation to Faith Lutheran's Fine Arts Fund will be used to develop skills and talents in students that will last a lifetime.
Technology Fund Technology aptitude is at the core of success in modern society.  Students at Faith Lutheran study and learn in state-of-the-art classrooms and science labs. Additionally, the school’s 1:1 initiative provides all high school students with an Apple laptop and all middle school students with an iPad as part of their learning experience.   Your donation to the Technology Fund will help provide Faith Lutheran students with the technological tools they need to be successful in the 21st century.
Greenhouse Fund Faith Lutheran students have designed a research greenhouse meant to serve our students and the hungry in the Las Vegas Valley.  The project includes two side-by-side growth rooms, both with their own autonomous temperature, water, and lighting controls, resulting in two different growing chambers.  These environmental controls allow plants to thrive throughout the entire year, increasing both student research opportunities and our ability to consistently provide fresh produce to 3-Square Food Bank.  Our Students will employ hydroponics, aquaponics, and soil growing techniques in an attempt to conserve water and maximize production.  Our Mark 10:14 students will work alongside mentors to experience the joy of productive, hands-on activities while gaining valuable work training. The students in this very unique and special program will also benefit from the sale of flowers and produce in yearly "farm sales."  The entire project, including 3168 square feet of growing space, additional storage, automated controls, and growing technology will be used by both middle school and high school students and courses.  The total cost is approximately $300,000.
Our 2019 Grad Nite will be held on Friday, May 24, 2019 immediately following the Faith senior graduation ceremony.
All seniors at Faith are invited and strongly encouraged to attend this fun, safe all night party put on by the Faith Lutheran Grad Nite team!
Sober Grad Night events are held for thousands of graduating seniors each year. They offer students a safe, sober, supervised, and fun place to celebrate their high school graduation with their friends.
Statistics have shown that students celebrating on the evening of graduation can experience one of the most dangerous nights of their young lives. Our goal is to save lives by providing a safe and sober graduation night celebration. We would like to share some statistics with you, obtained from the Mothers Against Drunk Driving (M.A.D.D.) website and the CDC  - Motor Vehicle Safety Division.
  • With annual events like proms and graduation parties, the period between Memorial Day and Labor Day has been labeled “The 100 Deadliest Days” for teen drivers.
  • Mile for mile, teenagers are involved in three times as many fatal crashes as all other drivers.
  • In 2012, 49% of teen deaths from motor vehicle crashes occurred between 3 p.m. and midnight and 53% occurred on Friday, Saturday, or Sunday.
  • In a national survey conducted in 2013, 22% of teens reported that, within the previous month, they had ridden with a driver who had been drinking alcohol. Among students who drove, 10% reported having driven after drinking alcohol within the same one-month period.
  • In 2012, 23% of drivers aged 15 to 20 involved in fatal motor vehicle crashes were drinking.
Seniors are taken by bus to the Durango YMCA immediately following their graduation ceremony at Canyon Ridge Church.  Once there, they are treated to an outdoor and indoor party full of water games, indoor games, dancing, food and music all in a safe, alcohol and drug free environment to celebrate this big milestone in their lives.  The party goes all night. Students are to be picked up at 4:00 am.  Yes, that is 4:00 am; it is an all-night party of fun and laughter.
This event is funded by tickets sold to seniors, tee shirt and sweatshirt sales, various family and local business donations and our Crusader Christmas Boutique fundraiser held in December.
