Admissions Procedures

1. SUBMIT AN APPLICATION - ONLINE STUDENTS ONLY
Applications for the 2024-2025 school year are closed as of February 9, 2024. If you want to apply to be a Fully Online High School student, please click here.
If you would like to be notified when the 2025-2026 application opens, please fill out our interest form here: 2024-2025 Admissions Application Interest Form.
If you have already applied for on campus or hybrid classes, any active checklists must be completed by May 1st for consideration. If you are moving from out of town, please contact admissions about the application process. -
2. SUBMIT REQUIRED DOCUMENTS
Once your application has been processed (please allow 1-2 business days), you will receive an email letting you know a checklist has been assigned and you are able to begin uploading your student's documents for review.
Required documents:
- Birth Certificate
- 2023-2024 1st Quarter Progress Report (Submitted after October 15th)
- 2022-2023 School Transcript
- 2021-2022 School Transcript
- Most Recent Standardized Test Scores
- Administrative Recommendation via Faith Provided Email Form
- English Teacher Recommendation via Faith Provided Email Form
- Additional documents may be requested as needed
Please allow 2-3 weeks for your submitted documents to show as processed and completed on your checklist.
For the 2024-2025 admissions year, Placement Testing will be administered for accepted students only in April and May. -
3. SUBMIT TUITION ASSISTANCE APPLICATION
Faith Lutheran offers need-based tuition assistance through FACTS. For more information and additional scholarships, click here. There is a rolling deadline and families that apply and submit all necessary documents will be notified in 1 month.
Families can begin their financial aid applications on January 1, 2024.
Faith Lutheran accepts funds from the Nevada Choice Opportunity Scholarships. -
4. INTERVIEW
Once the application and all supporting documents have been submitted, our Admissions Committee will review your admissions file and determine whether your student is still a candidate for admission to Faith Lutheran Middle School and High School. If your student is a potential fit for Faith Lutheran, we will ask you to schedule an Interview between your student, at least one Parent/Guardian, and a member of our Admissions Committee. Most interviews will be conducted via Zoom however the Admissions Committee reserves the right to request an in person interview.An email notification will be sent via Crusader Connect regarding scheduling your student's interview likely at the end of the 1st Semester. Open candidate files will be reviewed on an ongoing basis as checklists continue to be completed, and students will be invited to interview as available. -
5. ADMISSIONS DECISION
An admissions decision will be posted on your Crusader Connect account Decision tab. First round of admissions decisions will be released mid-February.
If accepted, families will electronically sign and submit and Enrollment Contract ($1000 registration and activity fee).
Due to increased interest and an overwhelming number of quality applications, we would like to remind families of the possibility of a Waiting Pool. The Waiting Pool Policy can be found here.

2. EMAIL US
Submit neuropsychological testing and current 504 or IEP documentation by either uploading to your checklist or emailing the file to admissions@flhsemail.org -
3. APPLICANT REVIEW
The Resource Department will review the applicants' admission file and submitted paperwork during the process to determine if adequate services can be provided.
Qualified applicants will be invited to complete an Admissions Interview on Campus with our Academic Support Team. -
