"CRUSADER CUP" on Tour!
Just like the winner of the NHL's Stanley Cup get to take the trophy with them for a while, we are going to do the same with the trophy for the Red Rock Athletic Conference Sixth Grade Basketball Trophy! It doesnt have a cool name like The Stanley Cup, but we can still have some fun with it. Team Leader Tai Fox "aka Tylenol" was given the Crusader Cup at our Banquet, and passed it along to Karlyn "aka Kar Krash" on Friday? Karly, is CLEARLY, excited to have her turn with the Cup. Karly made the transfer to Riley, and they had a little help (well, kind of a big help) from a four legged Crusader. Once Riley was in contol of The Cup, it really went on a journey. First it was sure to be safe on the drive home, then seemed to help Riley with a football game??, then was involved in Riley's homework, then finally something with a dog that wears glasses! After all that excitement, it was time for bed. What is next for the Cup? Check this space soon!
Riley certainly kept Cup busy! First there was some flexibility excercises with Karly - these girsl have some hops. Then it was some core and upper body training, and Cup showed some excellent, excellent balance! Soon, it was time for Cup to take the next step in its journey, but not before Riley and Kayleigh spent some quality time together, just the three of them. Highlight was walking with them through the portables!
Once it was finally time to say goodbye to Riley, Cup got to hang out at Casa de Downing for a while, and even got a photo taken with Kayleigh's best friend since first grade before being transferred again, this time to Bella Morrow, who we are sure will be making sure Cup has a very Happy Easter! After a restful Easter week with Bella Morrow, who grew attached to Cup since she had it for so long over Spring Break, Cup got moved to...another Bella, this time Bella Ramsey! The Bellas from Pitch Perfect may have won the won a couple of competitions, but they have nothing on our Championship Bellas, and we look forward to what Bella R has in store for Cup.
