Seniors and your laptops!
ALL senior laptops must be re-imaged. If you do not have your laptop checked and re-imaged by our IT department, you will not receive your diploma! You must have this final re-image done, even if you had the laptop re-imaged recently!
We are thrilled to offer those seniors that have been here at Faith for the full 4 years, the ability to keep your laptop at no charge. We will need to wipe and re-image your laptop (all your information will be gone). We HIGHLY recommend making a backup (using Time Machine or just copy the files important to you). If you do not do that or need help on how to do that, please come to the library and visit the tech support room. If you bring your external drive with you, we will be glad to teach you how to get your data saved from the laptop, but we will NOT backup your data
Also, if you do not want your laptop, consider leaving it with us. We take your old laptop, refurbish it, and donate it to less fortunate schools, churches, shut-ins, elderly, and other organizations. It is a way to bless others. Just let us know at check-in what you would like to do. Last year we had students donate their laptops to help underprivileged and charities! How cool is that? Please consider doing this!
As a senior, can I get my laptop if I have not been here the full 4 years?
Possibly, you might be able to. Students that have been here LESS than 2 years, we will need to see your device to verify age of the laptop. It will depend on the model and year of the laptop. If you decide not to purchase your laptop and return the laptop damaged or missing charger, you will be charged for those repairs.
This offer to purchase your laptop will not be offered to any other grade. This is a way we can bless the seniors.
Q: When you re-image my laptop, will all my photos and files be lost?
A: Yes, if you did not back it up. Unfortunately, we cannot back up the files for you.
Q: When can I get it re-imaged?
A: As soon as you do not need the laptop for classes, please bring it in to re-image.
Once re-imaged, it cannot be on our school network anymore. Let me say another way, once a device is wiped, IT CANNOT BE REATTACHED or CONNECTED TO OUR NETWORK (No wireless access allowed)! No exceptions.
AGAIN! ALL senior laptops must be checked and re-imaged.
If you do not have your laptop checked and re-imaged, by our IT department, you will not receive your diploma, transcripts will be on hold and fees may be assessed.
The school’s laptop is given (for those here the full 4 years) or sold "as is”. There is no warranty with the laptop.

Science Proves the Bible True - Part 1
In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth. Genesis 1:1
To say that true science and the Bible are contradictory is simply not so. If there’s even one chance in a million that God, heaven, and hell are true, wouldn’t you want to know? After all, one day you’re going to die. What then? And furthermore, since our children and grandchildren are increasingly exposed to secular teaching, don’t you want to be able to answer their questions when they come home from school or college, and steer them in the right direction? Well, guess what? Science proves the Bible true! For the next few days let’s talk about it: 1) The Bible tells us the earth floats in space. There was a time when people believed it sat on a large animal or giant. Seriously! But fifteen hundred years before Christ, the patriarch Job said, ‘He…hangeth the earth upon nothing’ (Job 26:7). Think about that: you can’t even hang your hat on nothing! The fact is, science didn’t discover that the earth hangs upon nothing until AD 1650. 2) The Bible tells us the earth is composed of atoms. ‘By faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that the things which are seen are not made of things which are visible’ (Hebrews 11:3).Only in recent years has science discovered that everything we see is composed of things we can’t see - namely, invisible atoms. Yet the Bible, written more than two thousand years ago, said it was so. Now, the Bible doesn’t need science to prove that it’s true - it just so happens that it does.
Prayer
Heavenly Father, I marvel at Your creation and how it is that You created. In Jesus’ Name, Amen
