Crusaders Beat Centennial in 5 Sets
Crusader volleyball started slow versus the Bulldogs and lost the first game 25-16. The team came back to win the next two sets and were up 11-4 in set 4.....
until the Bulldogs turned the table on the Crusaders by coming back and forcing a game 5 by beating the Crusaders 25-21. Game 5 continued to be a back and forth battle between the two teams until the Crusaders caught a couple of breaks on Centennial errors. The team pulled out the 5 set win by winning the 5th game 15-13. Anna Massari led the team with 15 kills and 6 blocks. Isabelle Guerrero put up 14 kills, 12 digs and three aces. Lauren Tomita contributed 23 digs and 17 points off of her serve and Olivia Magruder dished out 41 assists along with 15 digs.
