Crusaders Claim Crown for Third Consecutive Year
The Crusaders wrapped up an undefeated, 8-0, season with a 5-0 win over Las Vegas Day School to capture the Red Rock Athletic Conference Girls Championship! This is the third straight RRAC title for the Girls team, giving them the all time lead in conference history!
Faith is blessed to have three USTA ranked players at the top of the lineup playing singles, and today Mia Blum, Summer VanHouweling and Lina Namkung lived up to those rankings, with each earning dominating wins. Special shout out to Lina, who bounced back from a loss to this player in the regular season to notch a win.
Faith also controlled the doubles action, as Brooklyn Maier and Kailee Olliges won at first doubles and the the team of Taylor Nelson and Maryn Ryan won at second doubles.
This team is led by seven 8th graders, and combined that group was part of A Teams that compiled a 23-1 record over three season and won THREE titles. We will miss Mia B, Brooklyn, Kai, Taylor, Elyssa, Jade and Rachel, but know that we will be seeing (most of) them in Maroon and Gold in HS. GREAT JOB Ladies....you make us proud to be Crusaders!
