Cameron Merrill Named Head Boy's Soccer Coach
2014 Faith Lutheran Alum Cameron Merrill was named the head boy's soccer coach. He replaced former head coach Kevin Argue.
Cameron Merrill has been working at Faith Lutheran since 2019. During this time he has taught high school math and middle school physical education. He has also been the 6
th grade head coach for soccer and the head coach for the high school JV boys soccer team. He also has experience coaching with youth club soccer teams and soccer camps in Las Vegas.
Prior to Faith Lutheran, Coach Merrill attended Concordia University Irvine, where he received a Bachelor’s Degree in Mathematics, a teaching credential in Mathematics, and a minor in Coaching. He also played NCAA Division II soccer at Concordia.
Coach Merrill’s goal is to develop players into Christ-centered leaders who are committed to excellence on the soccer field, in the classroom, and in life. Soccer is an amazing sport, and he hopes to use soccer to foster growth and development in his players.
