This barbeque raises money to support the Mark 10:14 Program, Faith Lutheran’s unique program that provides students with intellectual and developmental disabilities an opportunity to have a middle and high school education that includes them in all the work, all the fun, and all the special moments that teenagers long to be a part of. It gives them every chance to reach their full God-given potential and to be treated as valued members of our community.
We appreciate your support!

What is Santa Maria Style BBQ?
Santa Maria BBQ originated in the Santa Maria Valley on the central coast of California, when vaqueros would host large cookouts after their cattle roundups. The menu and methods they used are still used today in this area of California. The tri-tip is seasoned with a special rub, then grilled slowly over the coals of red oak wood. It is served with freshly prepared salsa, ranch beans, a green salad, and toasted garlic bread. Once you taste it, we think you will agree that it is a truly delicious meal!
