  • Win in the Season Finale

    Even the rain could not dampen the spirits of the team, as they ended the season on a win 9 -7 over the Lady Bulldogs. Leading the scoring charge was Naia Mesalic ('19) with 6 goals, Emily Irvine ('18) with 2 and Brittany Moghadam ('21) with 1. Goalie Alexandra Mojado blocked.17 shots on goal and the defense played very well

    Faith Held to Three Scores
    Although the Lady Cougars only lead by 3 at halftime, the Crusaders could not convert shots to goals against a tough defense. Emily Irvine ('18) scored 2 goals and Naia Mesalic ('19) had 1 goal in this next-to-last-game of the season which resulted in a 3-9 loss.
    First Road Win
    Seven different Crusaders scored against Green Valley, cementing the team's first road win 15-3. Leading the charge was Emily Irvine ('18) with 4, Naia Mesalic ('19), Catilyn Raymond ('19) and Brittany Moghadam ('21) with 3 each, and Audrey Ulitchny ('19) and Zoe O'Sullivan ('19) with 1. Goalie Alexandra Mojado ('20) notched a 70% save rate.
     
    Rematch on Hualapai
    The rematch against Bishop Gorman was not as close as the earlier meeting in this home loss 6-14. Scoring were Naia Mesalic ('19) with 3, Emily Irvine ('18) and Madison Dillard ('18) adding 1 goal each. Brittany Moghadam ('21) scored the first goal of her high school career. Goalie Alexandra Mojado ('20) saved a career high 18 shots on goal.

    Faith Falls to Cougars
    In the final home game of the season, the Lady Cougars came out fast and took a commanding lead that Faith could not overcome.  Senior Emily Irvine landed 2 goals and all four juniors, Naia Mesalic, Zoe O'Sullivan, Caitlyn Raymond and Audrey Ulitchny scored 1 apiece in the loss.
  • Southern Utah Foils Second Half Rally

    In a very fast paced and  physical rematch, Southern Utah fought off Faith's second half rally to secure a 15-12 win. Faith's rally was lead by Naia Mesalic ('19) with 6 goals, Emily Irvine ('18) with 2 and 1 each from Madison Dillard ('18), Audrey Ulitchny ('19), Zoe O'Sullivan ('19) and Caitlyn Raymond ('19). On defense, Ali Gordon ('18) held it close by intercepting Utah's shots on goal, and goalie Alexandra Mojado ('20) had 11 saves.
  • Faith Girls LAX drops two

    Faith Falls to Somerset
    Although the team had many shots on goal, Somerset's defense held strong and the Crusaders fell 3 to 15.  
    Goals were notched by Emily Irvine ('18) with 2 and Naia Mesalic ('19) with 1 in the loss.
     
     
    Battle of Hualapai
    The tone was set in the first half, where it took over 10 minutes before the first goal was scored and then was tied at half. After a rough and tough second half, Gorman eeked out the win, 8-9.  Leading scorers were Emily Irvine ('18) and Naia Mesalic ('19) with 3 each and Caitlyn Raymond ('19) and Zoe O'Sullivan ('19) with 1 each.
  • Defeated Defending Utah State Champions in OT

    Southern Utah battled Faith to a 10-10 tie at the end of regulation.  Goalie Alexandra Mojado ('20) saved a last minute shot to send the game into overtime. Thirty-one seconds later, Naia Mesalic ('19) scored the game winning goal off of a penalty shot for a 11-10 win. Multiple players contributed to the win: Caitlyn Raymond ('19) with 3 goals, Madison Dillard ('18),  Emily Irvine ('18), and Naia Mesalic ('19) with 2 each and Hailey Haas ('21) and Zoe O'Sullivan ('19) with 1 each.
  • First Win of the Season

    After pulling ahead late in the first half, the team never looked back. Four different players scored goals led by Emily Irvine ('18) with 5, Naia Mesalic ('19) with 2, and Zoe O'Sullivan ('19) and Audrey Ulitchny  ('19) with 1 a piece.  The defense played well, limiting Green Valley to 3 goals in each half.
  • Comeback Thwarted in Home Opener

    The team opened the season against the Lady Bulldogs. After trailing 0-4 at the half, the team staged a comeback lead by Naia Mesalic ('19) with 5 goals and Emily Irvine ('18) with 1 goal and an assist. Audrey Ulitchny ('19) also had an assist. Goalie Alexandra Mojado ('20) saved 10 shots to keep it close. The final score was 6-8.
