Jennifer Karner began her coaching career right here at Faith Lutheran in the 2006-2007 season. That season the girls finished in the final four at the State tournament in the class 3A division. Since that time Faith Lutheran has grown in size and talent and has been a part of the 4A Sunset North Division finishing as high as 4th in their league and making their first playoff appearance at the 4A level in the 2011-2012 season. In 2012-2013 season Karner led the team to their first ever state championship in the newly formed Division 1A. In the final season of the Division 1A (2015-20126), Karner and the Crusaders managed one of the biggest upsets in Nevada State basketball history collecting their 2nd State championship.
Prior to coaching at Faith Lutheran, Jennifer was a collegiate basketball player at Concordia University Seward, Nebraska. The class she graduated with dominated the NAIA Great Plains Athletic Conference finishing with an overall record of 123-21 in the four years they competed. Jennifer has also received her masters degree in Coaching and Athletic Administration in 2012 from Concordia University Irvine, California.
