    Molchon Signs with the NFL

    John Molchon, a 2015 Faith Lutheran Alum, recently signed a free agent contract with the NFL’s Tampa Bay Buccaneers.  While at Faith Lutheran, Molchon played basketball and football.  After graduation he committed to Boise State Football and recently finished his career with the Broncos.  Congratulations!

  • Faith Lutheran Hires New Football Coach

    Faith Lutheran is excited to announce Mike Sanford, Sr. as its new Varsity Head Football Coach.  Coach Sanford’s coaching experiences include time as the Head Football Coach at UNLV and Indiana State University, as well as college assistant positions at Purdue, USC, Notre Dame, and Stanford.  During the 2003 and 2004 seasons, Coach Sanford was the Offensive Coordinator at Utah, concluding his time there with a 12-0 season and quarterback Alex Smith winning the Heisman Trophy.  Coach Sanford also served as the Wide Receivers Coach for the San Diego Chargers during three seasons between 1999 and 2001.  Mike is known throughout the country for his Christian beliefs, strong leadership, impeccable character, and innovative offenses.  Read Article

    4 Football Players Commit on National Letter of Intent Day

    The Crusader Football team is sending four more athletes to the next level to compete.  Hunter Kaupiko will be attending San Diego State University, Max Budde will attend Colorado State University at Pueblo, Dana White committed to University of San Diego and Noah Vernon made his commitment to Ripon College (WI).  Congratulations to all the players and their families!
  • Faith Lutheran football coach Vernon Fox resigns

    “I don’t know that it was anything profound that made the decision for me,” Fox said. “I just felt the time was now.”
    Faith Lutheran was 53-28 in Fox’s seven years as coach, including a 12-2 record in 2013 that concluded with a 17-0 win over Churchill County for the Class 3A state championship. The Crusaders finished 5-6 last season and fell to Desert Pines in the first round of the 4A playoffs.  Read Article
  • Faith Lutheran collapses after fast start in 49-6 loss

    There were positive signs early for Faith Lutheran on Saturday.  The Crusaders moved hte ball on a 17-play drive to open the game, and they scored on a 6-yard pass from Grant Wood to Quenton Rice.....Read Article
