  • 2020 FLHS Fall Volleyball Information

    If you are interested in trying out or getting information for the 2020 Fall Volleyball season, please contact Coach Amy Fisher at fishera@flhsemail.org.
  • 2020 Volleyball Camps

    We are tentatively planning to have our volleyball camps in July and August.  5-8th grade camps will be July 27-30, 2020 and 9-12th grade camp will be Aug. 3-6, 2020.  We do not have registration available at this time as this continues to be a fluid situation.  Please check the camp website page or email Coach Fisher at fishera@flhsemail.org for questions.
  • Nevada Prep All Southern Teams for Fall Sports

    Faith Lutheran fall sport athletes received recognition in the Nevada Prep All Southern Teams.  The Crusaders were honored with Girl's Soccer POTY, Amelia McManus, COTY Bob Chinn, 1st Team Selection, Jordan Brown, 2nd Team Selections Kennedy Lazenby & Tori Peterson, Honorable Mention Brooke Cimini & Camille Longabardi.

    Girl's Volleyball received 1st Team Selection, Anna Massari, Honorable Mention Isabelle Guerrero.

    Football received 1st Team Selection, Hunter Kaupiko, Honorable Mention Peyton Thornton & Tony Pierson.

    Boy's Soccer received 2nd Team Selection Landon Amick & Ari Servent.

  • Massari Signs Letter of Intent

    Anna Massari has commited and signed to play volleyball at Point Loma Nazarene University in San Diego, CA.  Anna has been the starting MH for the Crusaders for the last three years.  This past year Anna led the team in hitting percentage and blocks.  She also received 1st team Mountain Conference and 1st team All Southern Division.  Congratulations to Ann and her family!!
  • 4A State Academic Champions

    For the second consecutive year, the girl's volleyball team won the 4A Academic State Championship.  The team achieved a cumulative GPA of 3.84 to win the award.
  • Volleyball Loses Heartbreaker

    The Crusader volleyball team came into the match flying high after a 40 minute match win on Tuesday night.  They came out on fire against the Mustangs and took a commanding 2-0 lead.  Shadow Ridge woke up and began challenging the Crusaders and took the next two sets to force a game 5.  The Crusaders could not regain the lead in game 5 and lost the set 15-9.  The team was led by Anna Massari with 18 kills and two blocks;  Isabelle Guerrero had 13 kills, 15 digs; Lauren Tomita led the team with 20 digs and Olivia Magruder contributed 45 assist and 14 digs. The team ended up 24-13 (10-3 conference).

    Tonight was the last time our two seniors, Anna Massari and Olivia Magruder, will wear a Crusader uniform for the volleyball program.  Thank you Anna and Olivia for all the time and commitment you gave to the volleyball program over the last 4 years.
  • Volleyball Headed to Playoffs

    The Crusaders finished the regular season 23-12 (10-3) and finished tied for 3rd in a very competitive Mountain Conference.  The team will host the 2nd round playoff game on Tuesday, November 5th and will play the winner of Eldorado/Canyon Springs at 6 pm.  The Crusaders have been led by Isabelle Guerrero (JR) 340 kills (.247), 210 digs, 57 aces; Anna Massari (SR) 322 kills (.445), 69 total blocks, 46 aces; Lauren Tomita (JR) 347 digs, 46 aces; Olivia Magruder (SR) 831 assists, 202 digs.  The team looks to return to the state tournament (3rd in 2018), but will need to win 3 matches in a row with potential wins over Shadow Ridge (lost in 5) and Palo Verde (lost in 3).  The 2019 State Championships will be held at Faith Lutheran High School Nov. 14-16.
  • Volleyball Cruises

    The Crusaders cruised in their win over Eldorado only taking 40 minutes to defeat the Sundevils.  Anna Massari led the team with 13 kills and Addi Simmons served 22 straight with 6 aces in the win.

  • Nevada Prep Athletes of the Week

  • Volleyball Competes at DFC, places 2nd in Challenger Division

    The Crusaders competed in the local Durango Fall Classic  this weekend.  It's considered to be one of the premiere national high school volleyball tournaments in the country with teams from around the US competing in Las Vegas.  Day one saw the Crusaders competing against Mater Dei, CA (#20), Flintridge Sacred Heart, CA (#127) and Oviedo, FL.  The team went 0-3 but challenged all three opponents.  HIghlight of day one was pushing #20 Mater Dei in set one only to lose 23-25.  Day two

  • Crusaders Beat Centennial in 5 Sets

    Crusader volleyball started slow versus the Bulldogs and lost the first game 25-16.  The team came back to win the next two sets and were up 11-4 in set 4.....

  • Crusaders Defeat Arbor View in 3 sets

    The volleyball team recorded their second conference win against Arbor View.  The team beat Arbor 25-11, 25-19, 25-19 to move to 2-0 in conference.  Isabelle Guerrero lead the way with 15 kills and 9 digs, Anna Massari had 11 kills and 2 blocks, Lauren Tomita had 7 aces and 12 digs and Olivia Magruder had 35 assists.  Up next the team will take on Centennial on Thursday at Centennial.
  • Crusaders Win Conference Opener

    The volleyball team played their first conference opponent of the 2019 season, the Legacy Longhorns.  The Crusaders jumped out to an early 5-0 lead in game one and never looked back.  The team swept the Longhorns, 25-13, 25-14, 25-19.  Leaders for the Crusaders were Anna Massari with 13 kills and 5 aces, Isabelle Guerrero with 10 kills, Olivia Magruder dished out 30 assists and Lauren Tomita lead the team with 10 digs.  The Crusaders are 7-3 over all and 1-0 in conference play.
  • AVCA/MaxPreps Player of the Week

    Isabelle Guerrero received Player of the Week for the state of Nevada.  This acknowledgement is awarded by AVCA and MaxPreps.  Congratulations to Isabelle and the team for this acknowledgement.

    The team went 5-2 for the weekend and finished 11th out of 44 teams.
  • 2019 Volleyball Tryouts
