Grandparents Day 2025
Grandparents Day at Faith Lutheran was a beautiful reminder of the legacy and love that connect our Crusader family across generations. On Monday, September 8, grandparents were welcomed with the sounds of a student string quartet in the CPAC lobby before gathering to hear words of encouragement from campus leaders like Dr. Buuck, Dan Buikema, Jake Kothe, and Jacquelyn Trumbull. Student emcees Sawyer Marsh ('27) and Chloe Antheaume ('26) guided the morning as grandparents enjoyed performances from our bands, choirs, and dance students. The celebration continued outside in the amphitheater, where families shared donuts, conversation, and photos together (and even a special appearance from Crusader Lu!).
Grandparents Day is one of Faith Lutheran’s most cherished traditions, offering students and their loved ones a chance to create lasting memories while showcasing the talents, faith, and community spirit that define our school. We are grateful for the many grandparents who joined us for this special day and look forward to welcoming them back next year for another celebration of faith, family, and the lasting legacy of love across generations.
