Fortis Focus: John & Ryder

At Faith Lutheran Middle School, the House System is more than just friendly competition. It is about building community, creating connections, and helping every student feel a sense of belonging to something bigger than themselves. Rooted in the family of Christ, our Houses encourage students to support one another, grow in character, and celebrate each other’s unique strengths. Students earn points for their House by serving others and doing good deeds in the community.

Each House reflects a Christ-centered value that shapes the way our students grow together. From the resilience of the Charis Crocodiles and the discipline of the Ethos Wolves to the confidence of the Vevaios Lions and the enthusiastic joy of the Cara Dolphins, every House highlights a unique strength. Whether it is unselfish love, adaptability, relentless consistency, or strength, these values guide our students as they learn, lead, and encourage one another in their daily lives.

This past month, John Free ('31) and Ryder Beason ('31) were honored at their House meeting for standing out as the highest point earners in Fortis. We are so proud of all of our Houses as they continue to build each other up and live out the mission of Faith Lutheran every day. Go Crusaders!
