Tradition of Excellence

Faith Lutheran boasts a proud tradition in athletics. Our teams have earned 56 State Championships and 41 State Runner-Up banners in our school’s history. We have won the Nevada Interscholastic Activities Association’s Award of Excellence in Academics, Athletics, and Citizenship an impressive eight times. Former Crusader athletes played on teams at The Naval Academy, USC, University of Kansas, Auburn, LSU, Duke, Boise State, Princeton, University of Minnesota, Northern Arizona, Denver University and Concordia University to name a few. Our athletics program is constantly growing and improving, boasting a state of the art strength and conditioning center to help our hundreds of student athletes accomplish even more.

Alex Rogers (‘25) has been named Faith Lutheran’s 2025 Male Athlete of the Year. A standout in both football and basketball, Alex has left his mark as a true two-sport Crusader. This fall, he will take his talents to Gannon University, where he has signed his letter of intent to continue his football career at the collegiate level.

Jordyn Staggs (‘25) has been named Faith Lutheran’s Female Athlete of the Year. A dynamic three-sport competitor, Jordyn has excelled in soccer, flag football, and track, bringing skill, energy, and leadership to every team she’s part of. This fall, she will attend Arizona State University to begin the next chapter of her academic and athletic journey.
