November 7 - November 9: The Somewhat True Tale of Robin Hood
Middle School Spotlight Production
Step into Sherwood Forest for a hilariously twisted take on a classic legend! Our dashing hero, Robin Hood, is perhaps a little too obsessed with his own fame, while his Merry Men prove to be more "somewhat" than "true" with their questionable intellect and bizarre use of wooden spoons as swords. As Robin attempts to rescue the Maid Marian—who has her own unique obsessions—from the bumbling Prince John, audiences are treated to a whirlwind of slapstick comedy, witty jokes, and a story that constantly pokes fun at itself. This uproariously funny adventure is a perfect send-up of traditional tales, proving that being a legendary hero is much harder than it looks.
