Ruby Bridges Walk 2025

Earlier this morning, 77 members of our Faith Lutheran community joined the Black Student Association for the Annual Ruby Bridges Walk to School Day!

Our BSA President, Anthony Gray (‘26), shared a powerful reflection on Ruby’s historic walk in 1960 and how her courage continues to inspire progress, understanding, and unity in our world today:

“Today, we honor Ruby’s bravery and her example of perseverance and peace. As we walk together from here to school, we’re reminded that progress happens when people, of all backgrounds, take steps together toward equality, understanding, and kindness.”
