Guest passes are due to the Office of Student Life by Friday, March 29, or your guest will be denied admission at the door.
If you purchased a reservation for yourself and a guest, and your guest does not go to Faith Lutheran, you need to complete this process.  The guest pass form can be found on any student's Crusader Connect account on the resource page.  Don't forget the picture of their ID and the business card of their school administrator, and, of course, Mr. Bowline's signature.  This process must be completed for every dance, even if you have brought the same guest to previous dances.  We do not keep those forms after the event.
Verify your name / your date's name is on the list:
For those of you wanting to verify that your date / information is correct on the Prom Dance List, the list will be posted on the door of the Office of Student Life on Thursday, March 28th for you to confirm if you are on the list and that your date's name is on the list.

At Faith Lutheran High School, we have been blessed to provide devices for students to use while at Faith and to offer them, upon graduation, to students that have been here for the full 4 years. We also allowed seniors who have been here for less than 4 years to purchase the school’s laptop. This will be changing this year.
This year Apple has changed the MacBook Air line up and because of these changes we  will need to modify expectations on the way we sell MacBook Air to seniors.
In the past, seniors could purchase their laptops if they had been at faith less than 4 years. Students that have been with Faith the full four years were given the school’s laptop at no cost. This has been changed.
We need to make sure we can support all the future classes of students and the changes we will make to sell laptops will be that we will not sell laptops to students that have been here less than 3 years. If you have been here 3 years or more and less than the full 4 years, the laptop can be purchased for $300 (unless that device is a newer model than what was originally assigned which may be more). Laptops, if found damaged, will incur fees to repair.
We also must state that future offerings to students that are here less than the full 4 years is not a guarantee. We may have to restrict this more in the future.
If you are not a senior completing your full four years and are not returning to Faith, we will not sell the school’s laptop to you.

DEVOTIONAL
5. Do you hope to be saved? Yes, that is my hope.
6. In whom then do you trust? In my dear Lord Jesus Christ. (The Small Catechism: Christian Questions 5-6)
In the Name + of Jesus. Amen. You betcha that I hope to be saved! I don’t just hope, I know I am saved, and that you are, too! Everyone who calls on the Lord shall be saved” (Rom. 10:13).
In my dear Lord Jesus Christ, I have to be saved! I can’t not be saved! Because my salvation doesn’t rest on me. My hope rests on my dear Lord Jesus Christ!
Sure, I can deny Jesus. I can reject Him. I can live as if He didn’t save me and get what I deserve from God. Without Jesus, I have no hope to be saved. Without Jesus, I am going to go to hell. Without Jesus, everything I have ever have done and all things I should have done and didn’t do earn me punishment.
Why on earth would I reject Him? Why would you? I am baptized. God has put His Name on me. He has washed my sins away in the blood and water flowing from His pierced side!
I’m not saying that I keep myself in the faith of Jesus. I don’t! I fight. I resist. I try to walk away. I live my life each day as if I am an unbeliever. I’m so ashamed of how I am. I’m sorry. I want to do better. Most times I find myself unable to be anything better than I am.
Jesus is better. He lived perfectly before God’s holy Law, as I should live. He Lented, and suffered many things from the teachers of the Law. He was rejected by His people, falsely accused, and convicted. Nails were driven into His hands and feet. He was hung above the earth on a tree. “Cursed is anyone who hangs on a tree.”
My hope is that Jesus did all of this “for me.” For me He lived perfectly. For me He suffered. For me He was crucified and He died. And then the clincher: for me He rose from the dead.
When I look at myself and ask myself Dr. Luther’s question, I can’t answer apart from Jesus. My hands even shake as I type this: He alone is my hope. He alone can save me.
I trust in Him. I have to trust Him. And He doesn’t make me trust Him! No, He suffers Himself to be rejected. I trust Him because I can’t not believe He died for me. I know that “can’t not believe” is an awkward construction. I’m sorry. My hands are still shaking. Yet you know exactly what I mean, don’t you? You can’t not believe in Jesus! You can’t not see this world as the place where Christ died for you.
So do you desire to be saved? Yes. In whom do you trust? In your dear Lord Jesus Christ. Me, too! In the Name + of Jesus. Amen.
