STUDENTS, WE ARE SCANNING OUR NETWORK. Please make sure your phone is not on any of our networks. If we find it is, your name will be given to the principal and your phone blocked.
Along the same lines, we know that an individual can figure out the network password, but if we catch your device on the Teacher network, you will also be sent to the principal. If by chance we give you grace and ask you to get off the Teacher network, please do so.
Messaging on your school issued device is not allowed while at school. Period. If we catch you we will usually give you a kind reminder not to message while at school. If we catch you back to messaging and ignoring our request, we will keep the principals busy with you visiting them. They will share with you the consequences.
Games, like STEAM are not allowed at school. Please refrain from using them. If we give you a friendly reminder to not play games or have STEAM running and then catch you again, well, the principals will be busy.
Let us be nice to the principals and not violate these basic rules.
Thank you, the IT department

DEVOTIONAL
Paid in Full
READ
He is so rich in kindness and grace that he purchased our freedom with the blood of his Son and forgave our sins (v.7).
As I was getting ready to pay an auto mechanic for his services a few years ago, he handed me a receipt. The words PAID IN FULL had been stamped in red in the middle of it. I was shocked! How could this be possible? Stunned, I asked the mechanic who had paid for my car repairs, for it wasn’t a small amount. He simply said that the benefactor wanted to remain anonymous, and I was free to take my keys and drive away.
Those words, paid in full, have stuck with me ever since that happy day. They’re a constant reminder of the truth that, in a spiritual sense, I’ve been redeemed and forgiven through the blood of Jesus. No matter what difficulties I encounter or what doubts go through my mind, I can rest assured that my sin was paid in full on the cross because of what Christ did. There’s no debt left to be paid.
The apostle Paul wrote to the believers in Ephesus about the love, grace, and kindness God had shown them (Ephesians 1:4,7-8). With inspired words, he described to them why and what God had done, and what their response should be. He told them that God “purchased our freedom with the blood of his Son and forgave our sins” (v.7). The Ephesians knew full well that they’d been in need of freedom from the power of sin. Paul lovingly reminded them that through a costly “transaction,” their identity was now that of free men and women rather than slaves to sin.
This is something God “wanted to do, and it gave him great pleasure” (v.5). He decided to bring people into His family through Jesus even before He created the world (v.4). The only appropriate response to this incredible truth is to accept it and praise Him for paying our spiritual debt in full (v.7). —Estera Pirosca Escobar

Read Hebrews 9:11-17and consider how it was possible for Jesus’ blood to be the perfect payment for our sin.

Have you received the freedom God has provided through the blood of His Son? If not, what’s holding you back? If yes, what’s one way you can give praise to Him today?
