Varsity Girls Lacrosse -please stop by Mrs. Fox's office in the Arena lobby to pick up your varsity letters for the season.

There is a mandatory meeting on Thursday, May 25th, in room 216 for any 8-11th grade girl interested in playing high school golf in the fall.  9-11th grade meeting will be at 2:45pm and 8th grade meeting will be at 3:15pm.  See Coach Cheney ahead of time if you are unable to attend.

Come to room 222 before school, after school, or at lunch to pick up your yearbook from Mrs. Elliott. You've already paid for one, so don't delay!

Seniors and your laptops!
ALL senior laptops must be re-imaged. If you do not have your laptop checked and re-imaged by our IT department, you will not receive your diploma! You must have this final re-image done, even if you had the laptop re-imaged recently!
We are thrilled to offer those seniors that have been here at Faith for the full 4 years, the ability to keep your laptop at no charge. We will need to wipe and re-image your laptop (all your information will be gone). We HIGHLY recommend making a backup (using Time Machine or just copy the files important to you). If you do not do that or need help on how to do that, please come to the library and visit the tech support room. If you bring your external drive with you, we will be glad to teach you how to get your data saved from the laptop, but we will NOT backup your data.
Also, if you do not want your laptop, consider leaving it with us. We take your old laptop, refurbish it, and donate it to less fortunate schools, churches, shut-ins, elderly, and other organizations. It is a way to bless others. Just let us know at check-in what you would like to do. Last year we had students donate their laptops to help underprivileged and charities! How cool is that?
As a senior, can I get my laptop if I have not been here the full 4 years?
Possibly, you might be able to. It will depend on the model and year you got the laptop. It will be decided on a case by case basis. The minimal cost is $200 if you want to keep your laptop (there can be additional charges for different models and age). Your laptop will need to be re-imaged. If you return the laptop damaged or missing charger, you will be charged for those repairs.
This offer to purchase your laptop will not be offered to any other grade. This is a way we can bless the seniors.
Q: When you re-image my laptop, will all my photos and files be lost?
A: Yes, if you did not back it up. Unfortunately, we cannot back up the files for you.
Q: When can I get it re-imaged?
A: As soon as you do not need the laptop for classes, please bring it in to re-image.
Once re-imaged, it cannot be on our school network anymore.
AGAIN! ALL senior laptops must be checked and re-imaged.
If you do not have your laptop checked and re-imaged, by our IT department, you will not receive your diploma and transcripts will be on hold.

DEVOTIONAL
Mercy’s Call
READ
“I have sinned,” [Pharaoh] confessed. . . . “Please beg the Lord to end this terrifying thunder and hail. . . . I will let you go” (vv.27-28).
The deluge of rain reduced visibility to almost nil, forcing me and other drivers on the road to inch forward. As my usual twenty-minute commute stretched to well over an hour, I offered up prayers for God’s protection over us as I begged for the rain to cease.
Fear amid trying circumstances will often drive people to call out to God. When, by divine power, a powerful hailstorm struck Egypt (Exodus 9:24-25), Pharaoh swallowed his pride and begged the God of Moses for relief. God relented, bringing a halt to the thunder and hail. But “when Pharaoh saw that the rain, hail and thunder had stopped, he and his officials sinned again, and Pharaoh became stubborn. Because his heart was hard, Pharaoh refused to let the people leave, just as the Lord had predicted through Moses” (vv.34-35).
If God knew what Pharaoh’s response would be, why did He answer Moses’ prayer to stop the rain? Earlier in the chapter, we read that once Moses announced the next plague of hail, some of Pharaoh’s officials who feared God hurried to bring their slaves and their livestock inside for protection (v.20). This is the first instance recorded where Egyptians responded directly to God’s word through Moses. Then we see that upon Pharaoh’s eventual release, the Israelites didn’t leave Egypt alone; they were accompanied by others who had witnessed God’s work and chose to believe (12:37-38).
It’s possible God took these people, outsiders to Israel, into consideration in not unleashing the full potential of the plagues. His actions demonstrate mercy and compassion in the midst of correction. God still shows mercy to those who turn to Him in love and obedience. Call out to Him today!   —Remi Oyedele

Think about the last time someone offended you. Did you have a desire for vengeance or that the offender should genuinely see the error of his or her ways? How does your response mirror God’s heart?
