HS Athletic Meeting: There will be a brief HS Athletic Meeting for all non-football athletes on May 23rd at 2:55 pm in the Arena.  If you are playing a sport next school year your attendance is mandatory.

Seniors and your laptops!
ALL senior laptops must be re-imaged. If you do not have your laptop checked and re-imaged by our IT department, you will not receive your diploma! You must have this final re-image done, even if you had the laptop re-imaged recently!
We are thrilled to offer those seniors that have been here at Faith for the full 4 years, the ability to keep your laptop at no charge. We will need to wipe and re-image your laptop (all your information will be gone). We HIGHLY recommend making a backup (using Time Machine or just copy the files important to you). If you do not do that or need help on how to do that, please come to the library and visit the tech support room. If you bring your external drive with you, we will be glad to teach you how to get your data saved from the laptop, but we will NOT backup your data.
Also, if you do not want your laptop, consider leaving it with us. We take your old laptop, refurbish it, and donate it to less fortunate schools, churches, shut-ins, elderly, and other organizations. It is a way to bless others. Just let us know at check-in what you would like to do. Last year we had students donate their laptops to help underprivileged and charities! How cool is that?
As a senior, can I get my laptop if I have not been here the full 4 years?
Possibly, you might be able to. It will depend on the model and year you got the laptop. It will be decided on a case by case basis. The minimal cost is $200 if you want to keep your laptop (there can be additional charges for different models and age). Your laptop will need to be re-imaged. If you return the laptop damaged or missing charger, you will be charged for those repairs.
This offer to purchase your laptop will not be offered to any other grade. This is a way we can bless the seniors.
Q: When you re-image my laptop, will all my photos and files be lost?
A: Yes, if you did not back it up. Unfortunately, we cannot back up the files for you.
Q: When can I get it re-imaged?
A: As soon as you do not need the laptop for classes, please bring it in to re-image.
Once re-imaged, it cannot be on our school network anymore.
AGAIN! ALL senior laptops must be checked and re-imaged.
If you do not have your laptop checked and re-imaged, by our IT department, you will not receive your diploma and transcripts will be on hold.

DEVOTIONAL
Bubbles
READ
In these final days, he has spoken to us through his Son (v.2).
Sarah sometimes wonders if she only believes in Jesus because she’s surrounded by family and friends who also do. She asked, “Am I a Christian because it’s true or because I live in a Christian bubble?”
I get where Sarah’s coming from. Our global village has made us aware of other groups who believe differently. The same Internet that connects us with other believers also links to voices that doubt what we celebrate. So how can any of us think we’re right?
I told Sarah that “bubbles” are inevitable. The agnostics in New York City gather with other agnostics. Buddhists in Bangkok meet with other Buddhists. The Internet that might bring us together can actually further divide us, as each of us tend to click on the websites of our particular tribe. Such difference of opinion might tempt us to doubt what we believe, except for one important fact: We have received a revelation.
The author of Hebrews says God “has spoken to us through his Son,” who “radiates God’s own glory and expresses the very character of God” (Hebrews 1:2-3). Whatever “bubble” we are part of, that reality has been invaded by the Word from above (John 1:1-2). We don’t fully comprehend this revelation from our limited perspective, but we understand it well enough to say we truly know God (Hebrews 1:3).
Communities gathered around certain beliefs are a reality, so it’s important to know why we’re part of one. Hebrews describes a living Savior who came to earth and revealed by His life, death, and resurrection the very heart of God. It’s now our joy to freely share Him with those outside our community of faith. How can we serve them and perhaps lead them to understand their need for Jesus? —Mike Wittmer

How do Jesus and the evidence of His transforming ways give you confidence when you meet with people with other perspectives? How can you encourage—and be encouraged by—other believers to share faith in Christ?
