Dr. Kofi Sarfo and his family have lived in Las Vegas for six years.  He and his wife, Rose, have three children; oldest daughter Akosua is in sixth grade at Faith Lutheran while son Kobby and daughter Nana both attend Cornerstone Christian Academy.  The Sarfos heard about Faith Lutheran through recommendations from friends.  After touring the campus and learning about the faith-based education offered, it was an easy decision to apply for Akosua’s enrollment at Faith after she completed fifth grade.

The Sarfo family moved to Las Vegas from Indiana where Dr. Sarfo had worked in a group family medical practice. Initially after moving to Las Vegas, he worked with Southwest Medical Associates, but his dream was always to have his own practice.  After about eight months, he established his own medical practice, Vista Medical Associates.  Dr. Sarfo attended medical school in Russia and did his residency at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical School.  He is fluent in Russian, which he both speaks and writes.

In his free time Dr. Sarfo enjoys going to the movies with his family, and attending his children’s sports games and recitals. He also loves to play soccer and travel.  Dr. Sarfo has been a member of the Business Advisory Council since 2009.

About Vista Medical Associates

Since opening five years ago, Vista Medical Associates has seen tremendous growth and currently is in the process of buying its own building.  The office employs a staff of 10 individuals and also serves as a training facility for externs.  In addition to serving the medical needs of its clients, the practice is very involved in the Las Vegas community. Vista Medical Associates serves those less fortunate by providing sponsorships for children to attend after-school programs.
