Employment Opportunities
Faith Lutheran currently employs 82 teachers, counselors and administrators with 35 additional support staff. The hiring cycle for teachers begins in February for the next school year. Secretarial, maintenance, and other support staff are employed as needed.
Our school seeks first to hire teachers who have graduated from the teacher training colleges and universities of the Lutheran Church-Missouri Synod; then Lutheran teachers; and then Christian teachers. Accredited by NAAS and NLSA successful candidates must have or be eligible for Nevada State certification in their teaching area. In some cases out of state certification may be accepted for initial employment.
Faith offers teachers small class sizes, adequate preparation time, and a competitive wage and benefit package. Most importantly, Faith features a ministry team approach to our daily tasks, focused on the Christian education of our students in an environment that cares for those who work on God’s behalf in His Kingdom.
