Faith Lutheran Jr/Sr High School offers (4) four extra-curricular opportunities to participate in theatrical arts. Both schools offer a Spotlight Production in the first semester (A High School play around November, and a Middle School play in December); and a Mainstage Production in the second semester (A Middle School Musical in March, and a High School Musical in May.)

An annual Summer Theatre Workshop called “MELLOW DRAMATISTS” is also offered to all students during the summer. This workshop includes collaborative activities, guest speakers, field trips, a competitive “audition competition” and a full-length production.
Faith holds open auditions for all students, and every student who participate in a play or musical is eligible to receive the THESPIAN of the YEAR (male or female) AWARD, or the OIL-CAN AWARD (for excellence in Technical Theatre,) Faith’s highest theatre arts honor.

Improvisation Club

This High School club for any student in grades 9-12, meets monthly for a rousing afternoon of improvisation and theatre games. Members must audition to be in the troupe and auditions are held at the beginning of each school year. The Improv Club conducts open meetings and encourages students to be a part of “the audience.” Improv Club has a formal performance at the end of the school year.
