Message From Kevin M. Dunning

Kevin M. DunningIn the nearly three decades that Faith Lutheran has educated students, God has blessed us far beyond our expectations. He has raised our sights, promised His blessings, and increased our faith.

Clearly, building this Chapel and Performing Arts Center is a challenge for our community. It will require a deeper understanding of the school’s mission, fervent prayer and sacrificial giving at unprecedented levels. But when the facility is complete, the rewards will be plentiful! Our weekly chapel services will be conducted in a reverent setting that celebrates worship; our music groups will perform in a facility where acoustics are a prime consideration; and our drama troupes will have a real stage on which to showcase their outstanding talent. The new classrooms will serve a student body at its capacity and enhance science and dance offerings.

Yet before construction can begin, the really hard work must be undertaken. The building’s foundation must include the prayers and financial commitments of students, parents, grandparents, alumni, our association congregations and supporters of excellent Christian education. We must move forward together, praising God for what He has done through this ministry in our past and for the bright promise the future holds for this and the next generation of students and their families. Together with God’s help, that bright future will soon be realized.

Message from the co-chair

Co-ChairsIt gives us great pleasure to co-chair the capital campaign for a building project we strongly believe in: the new Chapel and Performing Arts Center.

More than 25 years ago, a group had a vision of developing a school in Southern Nevada that would offer quality Christian education. Bringing that vision to life required dedication, commitment and sacrifice. Today, nearly 1,300 students attend Faith – thanks in large part to the enduring legacy begun by that original group. That legacy continues with the construction of the Chapel and Performing Arts Center.

The building will be for all of us – students, parents, faculty and administration alike. It will house our children for the worship of God each week; entertain families through drama, instrumental or choral performances; and become yet another facility on the Faith Lutheran campus to attract the goodwill of the community and the attention of other parents who might someday consider Faith for their children. We’re committed to the success of this capital campaign, and because your child is or has been enrolled here, we believe you are, too.

Our desire is to channel this commitment into a type of stewardship toward the Chapel and Performing Arts Center. Stewardship is not about giving the most; rather, it’s about giving the best. If all of us give our best, with a thankful heart, the campaign will succeed. For some, that will mean a significant monetary gift; for others, it will mean praying for the campaign and for the impact the Chapel and Performing Arts Center will have on current and future students. Whether your contribution is small or large, it will make a major difference and will glorify God in the process.

From the bottom of our hearts, thank you in advance for your contribution to the campaign, and for helping to make a difference in the lives of all of our kids.
